Well very first let's let you present yourself. AF: Hi everybody. I am a speech therapist and train special education teacher and have been working in the field of education for quite some time now.
However some things were failing the fractures for them and they were struggling. And so we started to see the exact same patterns of behavior, time and time again with, these students that, you know, in some cases when they remain in high school and transitioning to college, we take a look at them and we state their failure to launch, or in some cases they're, they're the ones that go to college.
What, you understand, what the problem Executive Function Disorder is. So, so we began to take a look at those trainees in specific and what we found was that they all had the exact same pattern of, of truly demonstrating weaknesses in the areas of executive function. That's, you know, where I began to actually look at it and, and you know, beginning with the college age and then truly moving down to high school and middle school and we see many times that students start having a hard time with these skills as early as upper elementary school and middle school, clerk, you understand, so I'm happy to be here.
Executive Function Disorder
I was introduced to the principle of executive functioning skills when I initially became an advocate, the good news is. And it's certainly one of those things where if it's present, I believe you take it for approved if you have decent abilities.
And then I discover that a great deal of moms and dads can't truly specify that. You understand, they, they know what they're seeing. And then I state, well, is it this is it this is it this And after that they resemble, Oh yeah. And I'm like, fine, you have executive operating issues.
